Parking Advisory for Neal S. Blaisdell Center This Holiday Weekend

Multiple events at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center will attract large audiences and create an increased demand for parking this long holiday weekend. Attendees are asked to please plan ahead for increased traffic in surrounding areas and allow extra time to find parking.

Additional parking will be available at President William McKinley High School on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday via the campus’ Pensacola Street entrance. On Friday, there will only be event parking at the Blaisdell and all daily and monthly parking will not be allowed.

LOS ANGELES- October 12, 2016 – For his first performance in Hawaii, Garth Brooks is set to perform unplugged alongside special guest Trisha Yearwood, in support of the 75th Commemoration of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. The two performances will be much like his shows at Wynn in Las Vegas, just him and his acoustic guitar. The two performances will be December 10th at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena. The first show is at 6:30 PM and the second show is at 10:00 PM. Ticket sale details are below.

Brooks will be performing for Pacific Historic Parks which will be dispersing 100 percent of the net proceeds from the performances to four historic organizations with the mission of preserving the legacy of Pearl Harbor: WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument (USS Arizona Memorial), Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor, USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, and Battleship Missouri Memorial.

The back-to-back concerts are the culmination of a week-long schedule of events commemorating the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, other military bases, and civilian areas on the Island of O’ahu, which led directly to our country’s entry into WWII.

Admiral Thomas Fargo, Chair of the 75th Commemoration Committee said, “The 75′ Commemoration embraces our respect for all men and women who have answered the call of duty for the last seven decades and especially honors those whose sacrifice protected our nation and secured victory during WWII. Tickets will be on sale Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 AM HST. There will be an eight ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can only be purchased or or either Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. Please note there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on October 22nd. Certain tickets will be issued as “paperless” tickets and the credit card used to purchase the tickets is required upon entrance at the venue.

All tickets will cost $69.00 plus $6.25 service fee.

  • By 5 a.m. Wednesday, all ‘Ewa-bound lanes of Kapi‘olani between Kamake‘e Street and Ward Avenue will be closed and remain closed until Friday;
  • By 2:30 a.m. Thursday, and lasting to 2 p.m., Victoria Street will be closed between Beretania and King streets;
  • Makai-bound traffic on Victoria Street between Kīnau and Beretania Streets must turn right onto Beretania;
  • Mauka-bound lanes on Ward Avenue will be closed between Kapi‘olani Boulevard and King Street;
  • King Street makai curb lane will be closed between Ward Avenue and McKinley High School driveway;
  • Also Thursday, Young Street between Victoria and Pensacola streets will be open for local traffic only; and,

Due to popular demand, WWE and Blaisdell Arena will release additional limited view seats to the WWE LIVE event on Wed, June 29, 2016. This will be your chance to see your favorite WWE Superstars LIVE!

The event will feature four championship matches. Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho will battle for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal 4 Way Match. The New Day and the Vaudevillains will battle for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Charlotte and Becky Lynch will go one on one for the WWE Women’s Championship. The NXT Women’s Championship will be on the line as Natalya will take on Asuka. Also scheduled to appear: Titus O’Neill, Curtis Axel, Dolph Ziggler, The Uso’s, Shinsuke Nakamura, and many more!

Multiple events at the Blaisdell Center this weekend (April 29 – May 1, 2016) will create a large demand for parking at the Center. Plan ahead for increased traffic in surrounding areas and allow extra time to find parking so that you can arrive at your event on time.

Some of the busy events include: The Kevin Hart What Now Tour which takes place in the Arena on Saturday and Sunday night. The Book of Mormon ends its run in Hawaii with an evening performance on Friday night and matinee and evening performances on Saturday and Sunday. The popular 19th Annual Spring Crafts and Food Expo will take over the Exhibition Hall Friday afternoon through Sunday.

McKinley High School will have parking available on Friday and Saturday which is accessible via Pensacola Street.

[HONOLULU, HI] THE BOOK OF MORMON is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Wednesday, April 13 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu and plays a limited three-week engagement through Sunday, May 1. In Honolulu, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

The wildly popular lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances. The producers of THE BOOK OF MORMON are pleased to offer low-priced lottery seats for every city on the National Tour.BOM Lottery Signage

Entries will be accepted at the box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance; each person will print their name and the number of tickets (1 or 2) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $25 each. Only one entry is allowed per person. Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Tickets are subject to availability.
