Hawaii Swish is a professional basketball team based in Hawaii within the American Basketball Association.

The Swish, owned by a guard on the team’s roster, former University of Hawaii standout Geremy Robinson, is made up of a handful of fellow former ‘Bows, like Phil Martin, Julian Sensley, Jason Carter, and Miah Ostrowski, along with co-head coaches Johnny White and Artie Wilson.

Hawaii on Tap is coming to the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Saturday, April 1 from 2pm to 5pm with VIP beginning at 12:30 pm. Sample over 130 releases from some of America’s best craft breweries. Plus hang out in an atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food available for purchase, and great vendors.

In addition to sampling over 130 brews from America’s best craft breweries, we are happy to announce that this event will feature live music by Dread Ashanti and delicious food available for purchase. Internationally celebrated as a vibrant ambassador for music and an inspiring artistic leader, JoAnn Falletta serves as the Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the Brevard Music Center.

Her extensive guest conducting history includes over one hundred orchestras in North America, and many of the most prominent orchestras worldwide. North American highlights include the orchestras of Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Seattle, San Diego, and the National Symphony, as well as Montreal and Toronto. Critically acclaimed violinist Jinjoo Cho has established herself as one of the most vibrant, engaging and charismatic violinists of her generation. Gold Medalist of the 2014 Ninth Quadrennial International Violin Competition of the Indianapolis, Jinjoo made her first appearance on the international music scene when she garnered the First Grand Prize and Radio Canada’s People’s Choice Award at the 2006 Montreal International Musical Competition at age 17. Times Argus of Montreal proclaimed her performance of Shostakovich Violin Concerto as possessing “an undeniable charisma and depth…with an intense lyricism and heartfelt tenderness that sent shivers up the spine.”

Since then, she has won numerous international awards including the First Prize and Orchestra Award at the Buenos Aires International Violin Competition in 2010, 2nd Laureate at the 2011 Isang Yun International Music Competition, First Grand Prize at the Alice Schoenfeld International String Competition, and the Dorothy DeLay Award at Aspen Music Festival.
