February 23, 2018

PARAMORE’s fifth album was recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A – also their first time recording in their beloved hometown. Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen (M83, Jimmy Eat World, Beck) and PARAMORE’s own Taylor York, After Laughter signaled the return of founding member Zac Farro to the band. It debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Alternative album charts and #6 on Billboard 200 – their third consecutive top 10 chart debut. The album features the hugely successful singles ‘Hard Times’ – which has had over 50 million views on its colorfully playful video which Billboard declared “addictive” – and ‘Told You So’ which saw over 7 million views in its first two weeks alone.

Long regarded as an exhilarating live act with a non-stop show led by the fearless Hayley Williams, with Taylor York on guitar and Zac Farro back on drums, PARAMORE is a bona fide juggernaut, selling over 6 million albums and leaving a trail of sold-out headline arena tours in their wake. They have sold out iconic venues around the world including Madison Square Garden and Wembley Arena, and performed show-stealing headline festival sets at the likes of Reading and Leeds Festivals, Riot Fest and their own four-day festival cruise PARAHOY!. After Tour Four hits Australia, New Zealand, and Manila, PARAMORE will return to Honolulu for their first Hawaiian show since 2011.

PARAMORE have had a truly remarkable run since forming in Nashville in 2004, from their gold-certified debut All We Know Is Falling (2005), to 2007’s 2x platinum breakthrough Riot! and platinum-certified albums Brand New Eyes (2009) and Paramore (2013). The Grammy-award winning band have consistently drawn both critical acclaim as well as a wide-ranging list of international honours and accolades, multiple Grammy nominations and a win for Best Rock Song (for ‘Ain’t It Fun’), two People’s Choice Awards, three NME Awards, three MTV Video Music Award nominations and much, much more.

Brian Regan
March 2, 2018
Concert Hall

Critics, fans and fellow comedians agree: Brian Regan is one of the most respected comedians in the country with Vanity Fair calling Brian, “The funniest stand-up alive,” and Entertainment Weekly calling him, “Your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian.”  Having built his 30-plus year career on the strength of his material alone, Brian’s non-stop theater tour continuously fills the most beautiful venues across North America, visiting close to 100 cities each year.

Brian premiered his seventh hour of comedy, the Netflix special, Brian Regan: Nunchucks And Flamethrowers, on November 21, 2017.  This is the first special in a two-special deal with Netflix, joining Brian with Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and others in multi-special deals with the leader in worldwide streaming.  Brian’s second Netflix special is planned for release in 2019.

Taking a leap into the acting world, director Peter Farrelly personally cast Brian in his new TV series, Loudermilk, on The Audience Network.  Loudermilk premiered to rave reviews on October 17, 2017, with Brian earning accolades in the role of “Mugsy,” a recovering addict who is estranged from his family.  Brian will shoot the second season of Loudermilk this summer.

Brian appeared at Carnegie Hall on November 11, 2017 following years of performances in New York City’s finest theaters including Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, The Beacon Theater and Radio City Music Hall.  Brian’s tour has included regular visits to Denver’s legendary 8600-seat Red Rocks Amphitheater and the 12,500-seat EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City.

In 2015, Brian made history with his stand-up special, Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall, as the first live broadcast of a stand-up special in Comedy Central’s history.

A regular on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Brian is the rare guest who the show invites on for two segments: a performance segment and a segment on the couch to chat with Jimmy.  Previously, Brian was a regular guest on The Late Show with

David Letterman, making 28 appearances on the CBS show.

Brian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film, Top Five, and he is a guest on Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which is now streaming on Netflix.

Brian has seven hour-long comedy releases:

Brian Regan: Nunchucks and Flamethrowers (2017) – Available on Netflix

Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall (2015) – Broadcast live on Comedy Central, now available on CD & DVD and as a video or audio download

All By Myself (2010) only available as a CD or download only through his website

The Epitome of Hyperbole (2008) – Premiered on Comedy Central, now available on DVD

Brian Regan Standing Up (2007) – Premiered on Comedy Central, now available on DVD

I Walked on the Moon (2004) – Available on DVD or as an audio or video download only through his website

Brian Regan Live (1997) – Available on CD

CAPONE’S COMEDY SMASH 6 BRINGS LATINO LAUGH FEST, WITH FELIPE ESPARZA
AND PAUL RODRIGUEZ

Felipe Esparza

Paul Rodriguez

HONOLULU, HI (Dec. 8, 2017) – Capone’s Comedy Smash 6 brings its first Latino show to the Blaisdell Concert Hall, featuring “Last Comic Standing” winner Felipe Esparza and comedy legend Paul Rodriguez, March 3, 2018. Mark your calendars, as Capone’s once again delivers big laughs and the best comedians to Hawaii.

Raised in the projects in East L.A. full of gangs and danger, Esparza now sells out shows all over the country, finding comedy from his experiences. After working hard in stand-up and opening for top acts like Rodriguez, Esparza found a chance to shine on “Last Comic Standing,” winning the talent competition, in 2010. Stand up specials including “They’re Not Gonna Laugh at You” and TV appearances on NBC’s “Superstore” cemented his status as one of the funniest comedians around. Esparza’s newest stand-up special, “Translate This,” premiered on HBO in September.

Mexican-American stand-up comedian and actor Paul Rodriguez has delivered laughs on stage and screen for decades. He’s also a talented writer, director and producer. A pioneering comedian, Rodriguez is a featured performer in “The Original Latin Kings of Comedy,” which he also executive produced. Other film credits include “I’m Not Like That No More” (also featuring Esparza) Disney’s blockbuster hit “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” “Without Men,” and more. Capone’s Productions’ Comedy Smash has brought the biggest comedians in the business to perform in Hawaii, year after year. The March 18 show is no exception. For ticket or VIP information on Capone’s Comedy Smash 6 featuring Felipe Esparza and Paul Rodriguez and friends, call (808) 200-4339 or (808) 306-2926.

About Capone’s Productions
Capone’s Productions started off as a leisure pursuit for Capone, but quickly developed into a successful up and coming production company. Much of his initial experience in the entertainment industry involved assisting other promoters with various concerts and Mixed Martial Arts events in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. After gaining experience and learning the “business,” Capone ventured on his own. With the help of his daughter Michelle and wife Tammy, Capone’s Productions quickly became one of the most popular promoting companies among fans and artists alike, providing personalized customer service and producing quality shows, “You Know How We Do.” Their office is located at 844 Queen St. in Honolulu, and they can be reached by phone at (808) 200-4339 or e-mail at caponesproductions@yahoo.com.
